Problem
Hurricane Sandy caused enormous damage to beaches which resulted in extensive flooding. The Township of Long Beach asked for help shoring up local beaches in order to prevent further damage.
Solution
MZM Construction was able to mobilize and start beach replenishment work within 8 hours of being contacted by the Army Corps.
Result
MZM Construction stabilized the beachfront which helped to minimize further flood damage to the homes and businesses of Long Beach Island.
